The crape myrtle trees are spreading around the hotel, there are colors of white flowers, red flowers, purple flowers and violet flowers. The trees have silky branches, the oldest one is taller than 10 meters, even more than hundreds of years old.

The crape myrtle trees start blooming in May to June, the blooming season lasts until September. When you slightly touches the tree, the flowers shake like the tree is ticklish, and therefore the Chinese sometimes call it the ticklish tree. It is also a very eco-friendly tree. In the past, the name of “crape myrtle” have three meaning to the  Chinese: the palace of the God, the capital, and the executive secretariat of the officials.
